Returns & Exchanges

 

Your satisfaction is very important to us. We want you to have a fun and successful shopping experience with us, and will gladly accept your return or exchange. Please read the following return policy to ensure your return is able to be accepted.

Online Purchases

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from when your order shipped, so please double-check your order when you receive it!

Products not eligible for return include:

  • Book and patterns (due to copyright law)
  • Clearance items
  • 'Flash Sale' or 'Daily Deal' items (e.g. Tuesday's Treasure, Friday's Find)
  • Fabric cuts less than 1 yard in length
  • Fabric and yarn that has been cut, washed, sewn, or otherwise altered, including carrying a smoke odor

Refunds will be processed once the product has been received by Fabric Depot. Shipping charges will be refunded only in cases of Fabric Depot error. To ensure the the fullest credit for your return, please contact us beforehand and we will be happy to work with you on your return or exchange.

Retail Store Purchases

The Fabric Depot retail store allows returns and exchanges on most products, including defective merchandise, within 60 days of purchase. All returns and exchanges require a valid photo ID. If you are returning an item, please visit the Special Orders / Customer Service counter in the southwest corner of the store.

Products not eligible for return include:

  • Fabric cuts less than 1 yard in length
  • Ribbon, trim, and elastic cuts less than 3 yards in length
  • Books and patterns (due to copyright law)
  • Clearance items, Manager's Specials, Promos, Outdoor Sale purchases, Remnants & Lengths
  • Fabric and yarn that has been cut, washed, sewn, or otherwise altered, including carrying a smoke odor

Yardage returned with cash register receipt and sales ticket are eligible for a full refund within 60 days.

Returns of $100 or less - made with cash or credit card - will be eligible for an immediate refund or in-store credit. Cash and check purchases over $100 will be processed through our Accounts Payable department, or will receive in-store credit.

Check purchases require a 10 day waiting period from the date of purchase for refund.

Products returned without a cash register receipt and sales ticket will automatically be reduced by 35% in value, and are subject to manager's approval.
