Returns & Exchanges

 

Your satisfaction is very important to us. We want you to have a fun and successful shopping experience with us, and will gladly accept your return or exchange. Please read the following return policy to ensure your return is able to be accepted.

Online Purchases

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from when your order shipped. Fabric must be returned in the same conditioned it was shipped. For missing or damaged product, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order.

Products not eligible for return include:

  • Books and patterns (due to copyright law)
  • Clearance items
  • 'Flash Sale' items including Wednesday's Wonder
  • Fabric cuts less than 1 yard in length
  • Fabric and yarn that has been cut, washed, sewn, or otherwise altered, including carrying a smoke odor

Refunds will be processed once the product has been received by Fabric Depot. Shipping charges will be refunded only in cases of Fabric Depot error. Please contact us beforehand with any questions to ensure a smooth return process.

Retail Store Purchases

The Fabric Depot retail store allows returns and exchanges on most products, including defective merchandise, within 30 days of purchase. If you are returning an item, please visit any available cashier. For all measured item returns, such as fabric or ribbon, please see the customer service counter by the main registers.

Products not eligible for return include:

  • Basic fabric or apparel cuts less than 2 yards in length
  • Home Decor/Special Occasion fabric less that 5 yards
  • Ribbon, trim, and elastic cuts less that 5 yards in length
  • Books & patters (Due to copyright law)
  • All foam purchases or pillows 
  • Clearance Items, Promos, Remnants & Lengths
  • Any product that has been cut, washed, sewn, or otherwise altered, including carrying a smoke odor. 
  • Any item that is not in sellable condition, examples, not in original, damaged, or open packages. 

Yardage returned with cash register receipt and sales tickets are eligible for a full refund within 20 days. 

Returns of $250 of less - made with cash or credit card - will be eligible for an immediate refund or in store credit. Cash purchases over $250 and all check payments less that 10 business days will be processed through our Accounts Payable department, or will receive in-store credit. 

Check purchasses require a 10 day waiting period from the date of purchase for refund. 

If you don't have a receipt, choose an exchange or store credit based on the lowest price of the last 60 days. Photo ID required. 

For all special orders there will be a 25% restocking fee for all returned merchandies.
