Sew Circles with the Punch Drunk Quilt Kit
Bright colors and a solid background lend a modern twist to the traditional Drunkard's Path quilt block in this fun quilt. But do the curves scare you? If you're like many quilters, there's a little trepidation when it comes to those rounded edges, but with a few tips and techniques, you'll be sewing curves like a pro.
This Sunday I am teaching local quilters how to make this Punch Drunk quilt in our classroom and there's plenty of room for you to join us!
Making a Modern Drunkard's Path
March 22, 2015 10:30 am to 3:30 pm
$54 through Eventbrite.
If you want to make your own colorful circle quilt, we've got just the way to do it: the Punch Drunk Quilt Kit! It's available online and in-store now. (And it's part of our anniversary sale, so the price is extra low until March 24!)
In addition to the fabrics that are included to make the front, you'll need to get binding, batting, and backing, as well as a template for making your curves.
We used the EZ Quilting Five Point Star/Drunkard's Path acrylic template, but you can also use the Trace N Create Carefree Curves template or Creative Grids Rotary Cutting Circles template.
Go ahead, learn to take on curves with confidence! We hope to see you on Sunday!
