If my order contains damaged merchandise, or I want to return it, what do I do? We endevour to fill every order accurately, with quality merchandise. However, we realize that there may be situations where merchandise needs to be returned. Please see our return policy, listed in the "Policies" category.
What if an item on my order is out of stock? Your order is very important to us! We do not ship incomplete orders without contacting you! If an item on your order is out of stock, we will suggest substitutes. We will also give you information about backordering the item, if that is possible.
What if I can't find what I'm looking for? If you searched our site by keyword or item number and were unable to find the product that you wanted, it may not be carried online. Not all of the products in our retail store are availble online at this time. Please contact us via e-mail or phone to see if we have the item in our retail store or can order it in for you!
How do I place on online order? When you have found a product you wish to purchase, select the quanity you want and click "Add to Cart." After clicking "Add to Cart" the shopping cart and all the selected products will be displayed. If you wish to continue shopping you may do so by clicking the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of the shopping cart page. If you wish to remove an item from your cart, click the "Remove" button on the row with the product you want to remove. If you want to modify the quantity of an item in your shopping cart, click the "edit" button located on the row with the product. You will be taken to the product page that you wish to edit. Change the quantity, then click the "update cart" button. You wil be taken back to the cart page, and your changes will be shown. If you are through shopping, click "Checkout' to proceed to checkout.
How do I change the quatity or order partial yards? Fabric Depot's web site has changed! At this time, fabric quantities are selected on each product page. If you would like to change the quantity, select the edit button located on the right side of the item in your cart. When you select "edit" you will be taken to the product page - change the quantity, then select the "update cart" button located on that page. The new quantity will appear on the cart page. For partial yards, use the drop down menu located on the product page. To delete any item in your cart, select the "remove" button located on the right side of the each item in your cart. How do I complete the order? On the checkout page, complete the billing and shipping information section. Select the type of credit card you wish to pay with and enter the requested card number, expiration date and security code (located on the back of the credit card). Click "Check Out." Review your information, order and charges - then click "Check Out" located at the bottom of the page. Your invoice number will be displayed. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you sepcified. The e-mail will contain your order number and a summary of your order. Please be aware that this e-mail may be caught by your spam filter!
What is the shipping charge? For actual shipping charges, please refer to our "Shipping Information" page. If you have special shipping requirements, please add instructions in the comment box located on the checkout page. At this time, we cannot automatically add shipping charges to your order. The total cost of your order will be the cost of your products, plus the corresponding fee from the shipping table, which will be added when your order is processed. EXAMPLE: 12.99 (product) + 4.75 (shipping) = total purchase price of 17.74
What types of payment do you accept? FabricDepot.com will accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa or Discover cards. Your credit card will not be charged until the day we actually ship your order. Sorry, we do not accept C.O.D. orders.
Why do I have to provide an e-mail address when ordering? FabricDepot.com uses your e-mail address to send verification of your order. We also use it to send notification of shipping, as well as how to track your package. We do not share your e-mail address with any outside company or source.
What if there is an inaccuracy in price or information? In creating our website, we have tried to provide accurate and error-free information. Necessary corrections will be made without prior notice, to ensure you get the latest and most correct information. We are not responsible for such errors. If you notice an error on our site, please notify us so that we can make the correction as promptly as possible. Thank you!
What is your return and exchange policy? We want you to be satisfied with everything you purchase from Fabric Depot! We realize that an item may need to be returned. To insure full credit for your returns, please check your order immediately upon receipt. We will accept returns on items within 30 days from date of shipment. Fabric cuts of less than 2 yards cannot be returned unless they are flawed. Unflawed fabric returned is refunded at half the purchase price. Unless an error has occurred, we do NOT refund the shipping cost. All items returned must be in original condition. Items returned in non-sellable condition will be shipped to sender, and no refund will be given.
