Towel Fabric by Moda

Click me to purchase Moda Towel Fabric

If you need new kitchen towels like I do, Moda has come out with some beautiful towel fabric conveniently finished on two sides; you only have to finish the ends and embellish them any way that you want to. The prices are quite reasonable, ranging from $5.49 to $6.99 a yard. Considering that it only takes 3/4 of a yard to make one towel, it makes the price even better.

I like an assortment so I picked a plain white, a blue check, and a cream colored one with multi-colored stripes. Becoming quite excited about this project and the endless possibilities within the novelty and ribbon racks, I began searching for the perfect trims for my towels. Considering I like a variety to choose from, I filled a basket and finally narrowed my choices down to five.

One particular trim had a cream colored background with honeybees possessing the perfectly matching hue of blue on their wings. I liked the honey bees so much, that I chose another only the background was gold and narrower than the first.

Finally, with my white towel, I decided I wanted a black and white theme but still keep it on the farm. I found three trims, one with sheep, one with hens and eggs and one that had a design that reminded me of a fence. I must admit, I had a hard time deciding between the hens and the sheep but in the end, the hens won out.

And here are the finished products. If you would like to see more examples of Moda towels, visit Amy Karol's website, Angry Chicken.

You can do so much more with them if you desire. You can embroider on them, make napkins, table runners, and even aprons with these wonderful fabrics. The possibilities are endless.

Moda towel fabrics are also available in these patterns at the store for your shopping convenience.

Are you able to sell a whole bolt of fabric? I live in Canada, will the shipping be impossible or very expensive?

I am thinking about making some Christmas themed kitchen towels, and so I'm revisiting your blog post on the Moda toweling fabric. Do you have decorative ribbon and/or trim that looks "Christmas-y"? Thanks.
