A Summer Tradewinds Quilt Blowing in the Breeze!

This bright and delightful quilt is made with 40 precut 2 1/2″ – wide strips. We used Timeless Treasure’s Treat Strip- Island Punch. The background and borders are made from Hoffman Bali fabrics.

Our Quilt Kit contains these items to make the Tradewinds 58″ X 65 1/2″ Throw Quilt.

1 package of Timeless Treasures Tonga Treats- Treat Strip Island Punch, The Cozy Quilt Designs Tradewinds Quilt Pattern, and 1 package of Tradewinds Quilt Background, Borders & Binding.

The Strip Tube Ruler by Cozy Quilt Designs made our half square triangles quickly, and easily. We also used OmniGrid InvisiGrip to stop ruler slide.

Watch our demo creating the Tradewinds Quilt using The Strip Tube Ruler. A brillantly designed ruler that speeds block creation and assists in perfect point construction.

In this demo we show how easy it is to apply Invisigrip to your rulers.

Here we see four blocks completed. The pinwheel design is beginning to take shape.

The back of the quilt is almost as pretty as the front.

  1. Hiya, I’m really glad I’ve found this information. Today bloggers publish only about gossips and internet and this is actually frustrating. A good blog with exciting content, that’s what I need. Thanks for keeping this website, I’ll be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Cant find it.

  2. Enjoyed your website and the video demo’s very helpful.
    In your new
strip tubing book is the Trade Winds pattern in it?
